Mark Gordon is the Surrey Heath Borough Councillor for Bagshot and North Windlesham, and Manager of the Kings Arms in Bagshot. He is also a Parish Councillor and was previously chair of the Bagshot Business Association.
Michael Gove, MP for Surrey Heath, raised concerns with Roads Minister, Richard Holden MP, about the two years suggested for the replacement of the footbridge (footpath 184) over the M3 between Bagshot and Lightwater Country Park, following its emergency closure.
National Highways have made the decision to close the footbridge from Bagshot to Lightwater over the M3 with immediate effect from 3rd October for safety reasons.
Local councillors from the Three Villages - Bagshot, Lightwater and Windlesham - hosted a joint surgery with Michael Gove MP in Bagshot today (Saturday 23rd September).

South Western Railway and Great Western Rail are currently in the process of consulting the public on proposals to change the manner in which tickets are sold at stations and how these stations will be staffed in Surrey Heath.
