Valerie has been a Windlesham Parish Councillor for 20 years and a Bagshot Borough Councillor for 12 years and is actively involved in village life. 

She is most proud of being instrumental in keeping the Bagshot Village Library open by organising it’s transition into a Community Partnership Library run completely by volunteers.  She is Chairman of the Trustees. 

Amongst other things Valerie is  a member of Bagshot Society and is a Trustee of Windlesham United Charities. 

Valerie’s move to Bagshot in 1987 was supposed to be temporary but she couldn’t have picked a better place to bring up her two children.  She is proud to represent the village she loves.
